The world record by Bugatti Chiron which was applauded by millions has now been crushed into million pieces by Koenigsegg's Agera RS.

Apart from beating Chiron on road, Agera RS beats Bugatti on being more pocket friendly too.

Since Bugatti Chiron — the most powerful, fastest, luxurious and one of the most exclusive production super sports car— was launched, all the other hyper car manufacturers seemed to had taken a back seat.

Over $2.4 million worth Bugatti Chiron, topped the list of every hyper car enthusiast ever. The car which is powered by 8-litre W16 quad-turbocharged engine helps it to go from 0–300 km/h (190 mph) in just 13.6 seconds. This world record by Bugatti, which helped its manufactures to thump their chest for some time, has now been shattered by its rival Koenigsegg.

The world record by Bugatti Chiron which was applauded by millions has now been crushed into million pieces by Koenigsegg’s Agera RS. Apart from beating Chiron on road, Agera RS beats Bugatti on being more pocket friendly too.

Buggati Chiron became an overnight sensation by setting up a world-record in speed test, Chiron marked 400 km/h (250 mph) in 32.6 seconds, after which it needed 9.4 seconds to brake to standstill; bringing to actual number to 41.96 seconds. Taking on the challenge at the Vandel Airfield in Denmark Agera RS smashed Chiron’s record by completing the task in mere 36.44 seconds.

Taking away Bugatti Chiron’s pride, Koenigsegg driver Niklas Lilja, was the man behind Agera RS’ wheel while robbing Chiron’s fanboys. What’s more kick-ass thing is that this, Agera RS, is not a concept model but a real car which will soon be delivered to its owner in United Sates. The Agera RS which gets its power from a 5.0-litre V8 capable of churning out around 1,360 BHP. What’s more interesting is that during the factory test the Agera RS reached 299kmph.

Hailing the Koenigsegg’s Agera RS’ win the driver behind the wheel, Niklas Lilja, stated that the track used for the test was made for World War 2 (WW2) and was currently being used as solar farm. He also stated that there were many potholes on the road which kept Agera RS under limits. He also claimed that the hyper car is capable cracking its newly made world record.
Koenigsegg was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg, in Sweden with the intention of producing a ‘world-class’ supercar. Even though no reply was sighted by Bugatti, the car which is known to take on fighter jets doesn’t seem to keep calm with its record going into pieces.
